(…) The onstage presence of the chorus is so impressive that I think it will remain with me forever. There is a brutal side to their expression, and their movements are jerky. These are not nightingales’ voices; they arise from the belly and entrails to proudly scan the horizon; voices which resonate both inwardly and outwardly, barefoot and bare-armed, to build a song of hope and gratitude.

Obecność tego chóru na scenie jest tak uderzająca, że chyba na zawsze zostanie on w mojej pamięci. Ta ekspresja ma w sobie coś z brutalnej siły, gesty są rwane, nie słychać tu słowiczych głosów tylko głosy, które dobywają się z brzucha, z trzewi. Głosy, które dumnie biegną aż po linię horyzontu. Głosy te rozbrzmiewają wewnątrz i na zewnątrz, tam gdzie nagie stopy, i gdzie nagie ręce, by mógł rozlec się śpiew nadziei, śpiew uznania – pisze w Le Monde Evelyne Trân, po pokazach “Requiemaszyny” na Festiwal Sens Interdits w Lyonie.
